This garden was situated within a new housing estate and had been blessed with piles of builder’s rubble unsuitable for any activity, the brief consisted of maximising space while using contrasting colours and textures such as white rendered exterior walls and Turkish travertine natural stone.
We also had to cater for two small dogs and a large unsightly shed. We chose a pastel grey paint for the shed and this made an immediate impact on our garden, the site itself was an awkward shape therefore the curved, natural stone steps worked perfectly to soften our area. The circled lawn and lush, colourful planting highlighted these curves and were used as perfect focal points throughout the day.
After sunset our garden lighting design came into play and offered our clients a completely different garden to enjoy and entertain throughout the evening.
